US Vietnam Talent International SchoolSince December, and the Next 12 Months
Anita, in January we shared a plan with your team. Since then UTS has rebuilt its website and moved to a clear bilingual position, and part of that is already paying off. This page shows what has changed since December, where the gap still sits, and what a 12-month partnership would deliver for enrolments, in numbers.
“Saigon Digital transformed how Ski.com shows up online. Beyond rebuilding our platform, they helped us rethink our entire search and AI visibility strategy. We saw a significant uplift in organic traffic, our content started appearing in AI-generated recommendations, and the quality of inbound leads improved dramatically. They understand where digital discovery is heading and how to turn visibility into real commercial results.”

Families now ask AI for advice before they ever reach a school website
The Shortlist Is Now Written by AI
A parent choosing between bilingual schools no longer clicks through ten websites. They ask ChatGPT, Gemini or Google’s AI Overview which school fits their child, what it costs, and whether it is worth it. The schools named in that answer make the shortlist. The rest are never considered, and never know it happened.
Sources: OpenAI and NBER, How People Use ChatGPT (2025): 21.3% of messages seek information, about 49% are “Asking” to inform a decision. Decision Lab & YouGov, Vietnam, July 2025. OpenAI via TechCrunch, February 2026.
We Also See: AI Visitors Arrive Ready to Act
Traffic from AI answers is smaller than Google today, but it behaves differently. By the time someone clicks through from an AI answer, the AI has already done the comparing for them. They arrive with a shortlist, not a question.
42% better conversion
Adobe found visitors arriving from AI answers converted 42% better than other traffic in March 2026, and stayed 48% longer. A year earlier they converted worse. The quality has caught up fast.

4.4x the value of a search visit
Semrush measured the average AI search visitor at 4.4 times the value of a traditional organic visitor, based on conversion rate. For a school, that is the difference between a browser and a family booking a tour.

Since December
What your team built, and what it has moved
What Your Team Got Right
The direction was right, and some of it is already working. That matters: it proves the strategy, and it gives us a strong base to build on.
Built and shipped
- New website live since April 2026
- Clear bilingual positioning across the homepage and new pathway pages
- School structured data with all three campus addresses
- Oxford vs Cambridge and Binh Thanh articles
- CIS accreditation news, a genuine authority win
Already paying off
- “trường song ngữ”: from position 8 to position 1, inside Google’s AI answer
- “trường mầm non song ngữ”: 13 to 4
- “trường tiểu học quốc tế tphcm”: 7 to 2
- UTS still leads every Oxford curriculum search we tested
But Overall, Search Has Gone Backwards
The positioning work landed. The specialist work around it did not, and the rebuild cost some rankings along the way.
| UTS (utschool.edu.vn) | December 2025 | September 2026 | Change |
|---|---|---|---|
| Estimated monthly search visits | 3,663 | 2,343 | −36% |
| Keywords on page 1 (Vietnam) | 191 | 125 | −35% |
| Keywords in the top 3 (Vietnam) | 76 | 48 | −37% |
| Domain Rating | 31 | 33 | +2 |
| Parent guide UTS used to own | Monthly searches | December | Now |
|---|---|---|---|
| “stem là gì” | ~18,000 | #1 | #17 |
| “trường liên cấp” | #1 | #10 | |
| “trường quốc tế là gì” | #1 | #11 |
In Fairness: The Whole Market Moved
Google’s AI answers are taking clicks from every school site, so a raw decline is not the whole story. The fairer test is how UTS moved against its peers over the same nine months. Some held their ground. One grew.
| School | Search visits, Dec 2025 to Sep 2026 |
|---|---|
| Australian International School (AIS) | +43% |
| EMASI | 0%, held steady |
| Vietnamese Australian School (VAS) | −19% |
| UTS | −36% |
| ISHCMC | −75% |
Data: Ahrefs estimates, monthly history pulled 22 September 2026. Your own Google Search Console figures will differ in absolute terms; the direction is what matters here, and we will confirm it against your data in month one.
Where the Plan Stalled
In February your team asked us to focus on four areas: AI strategy, AI tracking, off-site authority and technical AI readiness. Here is where each stands today.
| Area | Status | What we found |
|---|---|---|
| Bilingual positioning | Done well | New pathway pages and homepage messaging. Now ranking #1 for “trường song ngữ”. |
| FAQ, review and programme structured data | Not done | No FAQ, Review, Course or Service markup on any key page. Programme pages are tagged as blog articles, so AI reads them as news, not as courses. |
| Site health after the rebuild | Needs work | 21 of 126 key pages in the sitemap now return errors and 24 more redirect. Test and placeholder pages are indexed. The English homepage title is just “Home - UTS”, with no main heading. |
| Directory listings | Not done | The International Schools Database listing is still unverified. It shows two different fee ranges and a British curriculum. AI tools repeat this when parents ask about fees. |
| Off-site authority | Working against you | Of 250 new linking websites since December, 146 are low-quality spam domains. Only 14 are genuine, useful links. Whether bought or aimed at UTS, they need cleaning up. |
| Campus and district pages | Partial | One Binh Thanh news post. No dedicated pages for Saigon South, Van Lang Complex or Botanique that answer the questions parents ask. |
| Content for AI answers | Partial | Three search-focused articles in nine months, all published on one day in June. Around four posts a month overall, mostly event news. |
| AI citation tracking | Not in place | No way to see whether UTS is named in ChatGPT, Gemini or AI Overviews answers, so no way to know what is working. |
The Pattern
Your team did the part that sits naturally in-house: positioning and publishing. The parts that stalled are the specialist, ongoing ones: structured data, link quality, directories, technical clean-up and measurement. That is not a criticism of the team. It is exactly the split you proposed in February, and it still makes sense.
8 Parent Searches. UTS Leads 2.
UTS wins where it is the only answer (Oxford). It is missing where families compare schools.
Web search checks, September 2026, run from outside Vietnam, so indicative only. Month one of the plan sets up a tracked set of 30 parent questions in English and Vietnamese, tested from Vietnam across ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews.
If We Do X, You Get Y
Every action tied to an admissions outcome
Six Moves, Six Outcomes
Mapped to the goals your team set in January: more qualified enquiries, shorter decision cycles, and better enquiry-to-enrolment conversion.
Fix the 21 broken pages, remove test pages, and repair homepage titles and headings.
Rankings you already earned come back. Google and AI stop seeing a half-finished site.
Verify and correct every directory listing: fees, curriculum and campuses.
When a parent asks AI “is UTS worth the fees?”, it quotes the right numbers and the right curriculum.
Clean up the 146 spam links and replace them with real mentions from education media, partners and directories.
Authority that Google and AI trust, and no risk of a penalty from links UTS never asked for.
Build campus, IGCSE/A-Level and bilingual-vs-international pages with FAQ and programme markup.
UTS becomes eligible for the “best bilingual school” and “IGCSE school” shortlists where it is missing today.
Win back the parent guides (“stem là gì”, “trường liên cấp”) and rewrite them for AI answers.
Families meet UTS at the very start of their research, months before they build a shortlist.
Track 30 parent questions across four AI platforms, and link your Zoho enquiry stages to their source.
A single number for the board: how often AI names UTS, and how many enrolments search and AI produced.

The Return
What one extra family is worth to UTS
Three Extra Students Pay for the Year
Based on UTS’s published 2026 to 2027 bilingual fees. Deliberately conservative: we assume a student stays just three years, and ignore annual fee increases, siblings and services.
If We Run This for 12 Months
Two scenarios. Both are models, not promises: in month one we replace every assumption below with your real enquiry, tour and enrolment data from Zoho, so the board sees UTS numbers, not ours.
| Conservative | Target | |
|---|---|---|
| Extra qualified enquiries from search and AI over 12 months | 30 | 60 |
| Enquiries needed per enrolled student | 8 | 5 |
| Extra enrolled students | ~4 | ~12 |
| First-year tuition from those students | ~0.9B VND | ~2.8B VND |
| Value over a three-year stay | ~2.9B VND | ~8.8B VND |
| Return on the 1.5B VND investment | ~1.9x | ~5.8x |
Assumptions: average Grade 1 to 12 bilingual tuition of 246.6M VND from the UTS 2026 to 2027 fee schedule, less the 5% annual payment discount; 5M enrolment fee; 8M annual facilities fee; three-year stay. Revenue, not margin. Enquiry-to-enrolment ratios are planning assumptions, to be replaced with UTS data in month one. Investment excludes VAT.
The Cost of Standing Still
Every intake season UTS is missing from the comparison answers, those families shortlist BVIS, VAS, EMASI and others instead. The loss is silent: no bounce rate, no lost-lead report. Just enquiries that never arrive. The 2027 to 2028 intake research starts this winter.
The Same Opportunity Across the Van Lang Family
UTS is one part of a pathway from kindergarten to postgraduate study. Online, that pathway is almost invisible, and AI tools struggle to connect the pieces.
A name AI confuses
Search “UTS Vietnam” and the University of Technology Sydney, which actively recruits Vietnamese students, comes first. Two old UTS domains are still in search results.
A pathway nobody can see
The group runs K-12, college and university, but the sites do not describe that connection in a way Google or AI can read, and the university homepage does not mention UTS. The strength of one brand does not help the others.
Mixed signals
Founding dates, flagship campus and facts differ between pages and sites. AI tools notice inconsistency and trust it less.
We recommend starting with UTS, proving the results over the first six months, then using that as the playbook for the wider group if it makes sense. No commitment needed now.
Investment
One partnership, one monthly fee
UTS Growth Partnership
Consultancy, guidance and the full SEO and AI visibility service, as one bundle. Everything in the plan above is included.
1.5B VND over 12 months. Prices exclude VAT at 10%.

A Note on Timing
In March we stepped back because we could not give UTS the focus it deserved. That has changed. We have the team in place to start in October, which puts the foundation work in place before the 2027 to 2028 intake research season begins.
